Update 3:38pm: Emergency serivces have been in attentance of a three-vehicle crash near the exit of the Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

A police spokesperson says that one of the vehicles is a truck.

"A tow is already on the scene.

"There are no reports of any injuries."

SunLive reporter Sam Gardner says all cars are off the road.

"Traffic is moving a bit slowly, but the road is clear.

"The cars have been moved to a side road where they are being loaded onto a tow truck.

"There is some debris on the road."

Reports are coming in of a car crash on Hewletts Road near the Tauranga Harbour Bridge.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says it looks like multiple vehicles are involved.

"It is in the Mount bound lane."
