What’s On: Warm sunshine and scavenger hunts

McLaren Falls is just one of the places where you can join in on a scavenger hunt. File image.

Good Morning SunLive readers and welcome back to a fine sunny Sunday.

There is going to be lots of sunshine today so make use of that time out in the garden, mowing lawns, getting that vegetable garden ready or just soak up the sun and get that summer tan going.

Metservice is predicting a fine day all day today with some light winds, then some evening southwesterlies. Make use of that sunshine as on Monday, there is meant to be showers developing in the afternoon.

The high today is 19 degrees with an overnight low of 8 degrees.

If you are looking for something to do in this lovely sunshine, why not head out to one of the six unique scavenger hunts across the region.

Virtually on Track have set up the scavenger hunts and all you have to do is head to http://www.virtuallyontrack.co.nz/votscavengerhunt, find the scavenger hunt and download the map.

You are encouraged to solve clues, take photos and answer questions in some of the most popular recreational areas.

If sorting out your home is something you need to do, today is your last day to head out to the Spring Home Show at ASB Arena.

Doors open at 10, so get in quick to get all the show deals to make your house a home.

If any of those options still aren't of interest to you, then be sure to peruse our listing in today's list of What's On:
