UPDATED 2.37PM: All lanes near Bayfair are now clear following a truck breakdown, says the NZTA.
A truck had broken down just after the Bayfair roundabout, blocking the left lane, about 30 minutes ago.
NZTA says all lanes are now open and traffic should be flowing.

EARLIER:
A broken down truck is causing some traffic delays in Mount Maunganui this afternoon.
Due to a breakdown after Bayfair Roundabout, the left lane is blocked, says the NZTA.
"Expect Delays or avoid the area."
A video sent into SunLive shows the mass traffic which is being delayed.

Presumably it wasn't the driver of the car taking the video, although nothing would surprise me with Kiki drivers.

Not here, the road users don't have any choice but travel at 50Kmph or less.
