A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Reporoa.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Settlers Road at about 11.13am, says a police media spokesperson.
"The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
"The driver died at the scene.
"The road is closed at Birch Road and Reporoa Road and diversions are in place."
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified, says police.
