One person sustained moderate injuries in a crash on State Highway 29, near Poike.
Emergency services were called to the crash, between Poike Road and Oropi Road roundabout, at 7.18pm.
A police spokesperson says a car hit a bank.
'One person received moderate injuries and was transported to hospital.”
The cause of the crash is being investigated by police.
No other vehicles were reported to have been involved in the crash.
