A Bay of Plenty road has been re-opened following a crash which brought down powerlines.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Te Ngae Road, Rotorua, around 10am.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police had a road block in place at Basley Road.
'We couldn't get any closer to see what was going on.”
A police spokesperson confirmed to SunLive that there was a power pole blocking Te Ngae Road.
'It seems a vehicle may have hit it. Diversions were in place around Basley Road and Tennyson Road, however, Te Ngae Rd is now clear.”
