A 50-year-old Waikato doctor has been named as the man who died after falling beneath his vehicle in Tawa Street, Hamilton on Friday.

Police inquiries suggest Dr Anthony Yung had been removing belongings from the boot of his car, when the car began moving backwards.

“Dr Yung tried to stop the car, but tripped and fell beneath the car,” says a police spokesperson.

“Police extend their sympathies to Dr Yung's family and friends at this difficult time.”

Dr Yung's death has been referred to the Coroner.

What do you think about businesses rejecting people’s job applications if they have tattoos?

I think it’s fine. Companies should be able to do what is right for their business.
They shouldn’t be able to discriminate someone for having tattoos.
I guess it depends where the tattoo is.
