Good Morning Sunners and welcome to a bashful Sunday.

Rain, rain go away- today there will be heavy rain at time with easterlies and a high of 16 degrees.

Get ready for an action-packed day of empowered women playing a full contact sport on roller skates at War of the Wheels 2018.

Otautahi Roller Derby League, Timaru Roller Derby, Taranaki Roller Corps, Dead End Derby Christchurch Rollergirls Living Dead Rollers, Whenua Fatales Roller Derby League and Moana Roller Derby Paua Rangers will bebashing it out at Tauranga's Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre.

Roller derby involves two, five-member teams skating around a track in the same direction, with points scored when players called ‘jammers' laps members of the opposite team who are trying to block them.

A day pass is $15, entry after 1pm Sunday is $10 (last 2 games each day). Door sales only. Eftpos available onsite.
