Morning SunLive readers and welcome back to Saturday.
I hope you're reading this after a well deserved sleep in, your batteries are recharged, and you're ready to tackle a full day of action, because Tauranga is putting it on again this weekend.
If that isn't the case and you feel you need a little boost, then you're in luck - the Tauranga Coffee Festival will have you ready to conquer anything the day throws your way.
You can, quite literally, wake up and smell the beans today from 10am at Our Place, 91 Willow St in Tauranga CBD.
There's set to be boutique roasters, coffee brand collaborations and even barista competitions. It's bound to take Saturday brunching to a whole other level. Tickets to the event cost $16.25.
Then after you're charged on your magic beans, why not head over to the Mount.
He says, he wants to capture the true local atmosphere.
'I'm trying to give the Mount another identity other than surf, summer and tourist locations,” says Jamie. 'The locals who live here know how great winter and night time is because the crowds are gone, there isn't all that noise, just you and the town. I feel like I know the Mount so much more because I've painted each tree."
But here's the catch - his exhibition is one night and one day only, at Float Antigravity Fitness.
The exhibition launched on Friday night and will open again today, Saturday from 12noon to 4pm - so make sure you catch it.
