Good morning SunLive readers and happy Saturday!
It's a beautiful morning out there, which makes me sorry to be the bearer of bad news and say it's predicted to get cloudy with a chance of showers from this afternoon and rain later tonight.
It's one of the warmer winter days today though, with a high of 16 and a low of 11 overnight, so at least there's that to comfort you.
And like I said it's not meant to get soppy until this afternoon, so why not spend the lead up getting out there and enjoying the day.
The Strand waterfront gets another burst of culture today, as local Sikhs celebrate Turban Day in Tauranga.
It's a chance to learn more about the Sikhism religion, meet those within the community and you even get to try on a Turban for yourself.
For the greenies, the eco-conscious or those looking to learn more, head over to Mount Maunganui for the Moun Enviro Fest.
Mount Mainstreet will be closed down to cars, and replaced with buskers, a sustainable fashion parade, competitons, electric bikes and all things green.
The event follows on after six local schools in the Mount area turned a strip of construction fencing into a stunning environmentally-themed art piece
To celebrate the completion of the fence art, Mount Mainstreet is putting on Envirofest, a free street festival on today from 11am – 2pm.
