Congratulations to David and Wayne on your re-election. Commiserations to Steve Morris you fought a great fight for a rank new comer against two very seasoned opponents. Losing by just 165 votes is a very credible effort, well done my boy. Max Lewis
Congratulations

Steve good on Bay Trust

Nice to see Steve's admirable congratulations to successful candidates and Bob. It may be better that Steve can just stay on the Bay Trust, though I'm not exactly sure how you get appointed to that without any particular record. It may be a National Party thing because Labour had there people in when they were in power. Nice words from Max too. Max put up a good effort to try and get on Tect, but unfortunately you needed to get elected to that rather than appointed too. Politics is a strange thing really.
Community Service

Thanks for your comments. Yes trustees are appointed by the minister of finance, whom I hasten to add I have never even met. You really have to have a record of community service & involvement as I have in foster care, and church work among other things. Perhaps when I am 30 years older I'll have enough of a record for your support sir.
