The local government elections are winding up, with ballot boxes closing at midday on Saturday, October 9.
It's too late for people to send their completed voting papers by freepost, so papers need to be dropped by hand into a ballot box at Tauranga City Council main offices in Willow Street.
People voting in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council election can drop their ballot papers into the council's offices at Barkes Corner.
People who have lost the voting papers mailed to them, can still vote; they just have to go to the appropriate council offices and get a new ballot at the information desk.
