A Harwood Homes showhome at the Lakes, Tauranga, has won the Registered Master Builders showhome of the year award.
The competition judges described the home as a classical contemporary, designed and built around low-maintenance principles and some sustainable features.

Judges' comments about the house included, 'This sums up what showhomes are all about – superbly planned and laid out, building on the team's experience over many years and providing future clients insight into how the builders understand homeowners' needs and aspirations.”
This house's nomination was the sixth time Dave and Kirsty Harwood had been to the national awards and is the second time they have won something.
