Beef +Lamb NZ and AgResearch have a new free service called PestWebNZ which sends message alerts about weeds and pests that affect pastures and feed crops in farming and horticultural area, along with suggestions for management.

Growers and farmers are also able to ask questions by text – and have them answered by experts.

The alerts are region-specific, and are designed to help deal with weeds and pests sooner, more easily and at less cost.
