Entrants to the 2010 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards have a chance to win a cash prize simply by entering the competition.
The New Zealand Dairy Awards Trust is offering a prize draw for all who enter the contest early.
National convenor of the competition Chris Keeping says they want to encourage people to enter earlier than they have previously.
'Last year most of the entries came in at the last minute and it put a huge strain on us trying to deal with them all. So this year we are encouraging people to enter earlier and to complete the process online. It's also more sustainable way to do it and it will save on paper.”
To be eligible for the $1000 prize entries must be post marked by December 15 and contain a valid email address. Entrants must then also complete the entry process using the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards online system and go through to judging.
Chris says because of the need to have the entry form signed by the farm owner, it is not possible to do the entire process online.
Entry forms an be found at www.dairyindustryawards.co.nz
