The hunt is on for New Zealand's best performers in the organics field.
Entries are now open for Organics Aotearoa New Zealand's annual organic awards and the organisation is calling for nominations in four separate categories; Organic Exporter of the Year, Organic Producer of the Year, the Organic Enterprise Award, and The Jon Manhire Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Organic Sector.

The Producer of the Year is a new award this year to recognise a successful certified organic producer farming at the cutting edge of environmental, economic and social sustainability, while the Enterprise award recognises outstanding effort promoting the organic vision and values. The Jon Manhire Award is given each year to a person who has demonstrated excellence in their field as well and made a personal commitment to organics while also encouraging others to adopt organic principles.
