The Technology Centre is looking to give away seven iMac computers to Western Bay early childhood centres.
The computers were donated by Katikati College because they have reached the end of their useful life for the school, but The Technology Centre owner Werner Marx says they would be ideal for use in a kindergarten.
The Technology Centre owner Christen Marx is looking for a new home for seven iMac computers.
"We still have machines like this in a number of primary schools around town. They still deliver education curriculum at an adequate level."
The college donated 32 computers and Werner has already found new homes for 25.
"We don't know what people's needs are, but if they give us a call we can talk about how many they want and what they want from them. We can tell them what the machines are capable of and what they can expect."
The computers are loaded with iLife 05 suite which features iPhoto, iMovie, Garage Band and Microsoft Office software.
People interested in acquiring one of these computers for an early childhood centre can write into SunLive explaining why that school would benefit.
