Bands Sound Workshop, DV8 and The Wild Clovers entertained while visitors enjoyed the activities, which included cooking demonstrations on how to make avocado based meals and competitions for the best avocado cheesecake and guacamole.
Jane Munro won the Guacamole competition, where four amateur chefs made their own recipes in front of an audience.
The competition was judged by Deli on Devonport chef Peter Blakeway and Twickenham Homestead chef Stacey McLean with help from the public.

Jane Munro, Peter Nicholas and Kea Lippiatt mix up their guacamole recipes for the judges.
Peter says all the guacamoles were lovely but Jane's had the personal touch that made it special.
"Jane's guacamole was really nice and tasty and everything had come from her own garden," says Peter.
"It was lovingly prepared and she was talking about the varieties of everything as she was making it. That's what this festival is all about. A lot of people still buy imported fruit at stupid prices when we've got it all right here.
"It's really hard standing up in front of people like that, so well done all of them."
