Luxury still selling at Mount

The current economic climate is not holding back a developer aiming at the top end of Mount Maunganui's property market.
The London Group has already sold one of three townhouses built as a $10.2 million development at the Arataki end of Oceanbeach Road.

Classic clean lines, traditional shapes and modern functionality – the Bond Street townhouses.

The overseas buyer of the beachfront building contacted developers The London Group when he visited the Bay of Plenty three years ago, says Kelly Barriball from v.marketing.
He kept in touch, waiting for the perfect location and when The London Group bought this site, he came back over to view it, and brought it based on the plans,” says Kelly. 'We won't disclose the sale price, sorry.”
Townhouses two and three are on the market for $3.2 million each.
Each townhouse is more than 300 square metres in area, with the largest nearly 400 square metres. Each has a different size and layout, sharing feature materials of marble flooring, dark oak timber, stainless steel and glass.
The three and four level homes feature many firsts for architecture in New Zealand.
'We commissioned an automated louvre system which is two storeys in height”, says Graeme Milward, London Group Managing Director.
'The louvres slide at the push of a button to either open or enclose the space. A roof louvre completes the transformation of this space from exterior to interior and in effect creates an outdoor room.”
Interior floorings include wool carpets, polished Turkish marble tiles, underfloor heating and Bosch appliances.
