A fresh start with new offices is ahead for New Zealand First as the political party prepares to officially open its new offices on Cameron Road.
The political party has been looking for a new Tauranga base after Independent MP Brendan Horan took over the former Rata Street base after being expelled from the political party last December.

The expulsion came after allegations Brendan misappropriated money from his mother's bank accounts.
NZ First leader Winston Peters says New Zealand First has always had an office in Tauranga and the new offices are a chance for a fresh start.
'It's where New Zealand First was formed and it is the heart of the party. Tauranga is a priority for New Zealand First.
'Everyone is delighted New Zealand First will have an official presence in Tauranga again with the opening of this office.”
The offices at 801 Cameron Road will officially open on Friday and will be the interaction point for any local constituents.
Winston says the party has some great staff ready and willing to help out during the office opening hours from 9-5pm daily.
He says New Zealand First MPs will be frequent visitors to the office.
It's taken a few months to renovate the offices and Winston is happy they are now up and running.
'Now the offices are up and running, we'll be getting on the with task of listening to the issues and concerns of the locals and helping them make their voice heard in Parliament.”

The NZ Taxpayer provides yet more handouts for these "need to haves" all over NZ, just another allowance that we never knew we agreed to.
