Minister of Health and MP for the Bay of Plenty electorate, Tony Ryall, will make a major announcement at Tauranga Hospital on Friday afternoon.
The announcement is expected to be about a major boost for Tauranga Hospital and healthcare in the wider Western Bay of Plenty region.

Tony will be joined at the hospital at 2pm by Bay of Plenty District Health Board chairperson Mary Hackett, representatives from Fletcher Construction and doctors from the hospital.
The announcement will be made at a construction site currently underway at the hospital.
