Court strike continues

Members of the Public Services Association union at the Tauranga court house have taken industrial action for a second time this week.
After taking industrial action on Tuesday, the PSA members at the Ministry of Justice took strike action again on Thursday for one hour between 10am and 11am and protested outside the court house.

PSA union organiser Barry Jones says nothing has changed since Tuesday.
'The Ministry is saying what we are asking for is going to cost $100 million over three years.
But how can they come up with that assessment because the PSA hasn't put anything on the table,” says Barry.
He says about 40 people protested today and rolling strike action will continue at the court house until the Ministry makes an acceptable pay offer to union members.
