More than one thousand motorcyclists are expected to descend on Tauranga to protest the proposed ACC levy increases.
The protest is planned for November 7 and organisers say thousands of motorcyclists from all over the North Island will participate.

Max Neal, vice president of Tauranga's Ulysses Club motorbike association, says protest organisers have 'hit a few stumbling blocks”, but is adamant it will go ahead.
'It's going to be huge. We are predicting numbers well in excess of 1000.
I have people stopping me in the street wanting to know about it and I don't know them from a bar of soap,” says Max.
The protest will start at 9am at Baypark and follow a route through Mangatapu, Windemere, down Cameron Road, onto Elizabeth Street, Devonport Road, Hamilton Street and finish at the ACC offices on Grey Street.
Motorcyclists will meet Tauranga MP Simon Bridges at the ACC building and voice their concerns about the proposed hikes.
Max says he is trying to coordinate with police and Tauranga City Council to ensure the protest runs smoothly.
'I make no apologies for the protest but I do apologise for any inconvenience it causes,” says Max.
'As the issue stands at the moment, the protest will demonstrate how angry people are about it.”
