So Simon spent $15000 on travel and acomodation in 3 months, but what about the time parliament was not sitting? All MPs seem to be keen to travel travel travel and get airpoints at the taxpayer expense. I want to know how much overseas travel these men will be doing this year?

In the trough

We don t need separate Tauranga and Western BoP Councils nor do we need separate Maori electorates, doubling public expenses. Having to pay for so many politicians is a most expensive employment scheme. Reduction of the amount of superfluous public servants is essential. To pay them unemployment benefit is cheaper than sponsoring self-serving bureaucracy.
