The Tauranga Women’s Lifestyle Expo is set to return to Mercury Baypark this month with its largest range of exhibitors in recent years.

The two-day event, taking place on September 19 and 20, will feature 130 exhibitors showcasing products and services across lifestyle, health, beauty, food, travel and craft sectors.

Visitors will be able to browse a mix of established brands and emerging businesses, with organisers promising a weekend of shopping, inspiration and entertainment.

New exhibitors this year include Porini Design Studio, bringing a collection of fine jewellery, and Clevedon Sourdough, featuring handmade organic sourdough starters.

Returning favourites include activewear brand Lorna Jane, natural wellness and skincare company Parker and Co, and Cuore Di Gelato, serving authentic Italian gelato.

The expo will also feature an Artisan Zone highlighting New Zealand makers and craftspeople, alongside a Taste Zone offering samples of gourmet food and beverages, including coffee, sweet treats and handcrafted spirits.

At seminar sessions, visitors will be able to hear industry experts speak on topics such as beauty, health and personal finance.

NZME Events head Emily Travers said strong support from businesses had helped make this year’s Tauranga expo the biggest in recent years.

“We’re absolutely delighted with the support we’ve received from many businesses, helping make this year’s Tauranga Women’s Lifestyle Expo our biggest event in recent years,” Travers said.

“The range of products is phenomenal and the atmosphere is always fantastic. We love seeing groups of girlfriends and mums and daughters shopping together, discovering new brands, sampling products and enjoying a relaxed day out.”

She said the new seminar space would give visitors the opportunity to learn from experts while taking a break from shopping.

Adding to the attraction is a competition to win a holiday for two to Hawaii, including return flights to Honolulu and seven nights’ accommodation in Waikiki, courtesy of World Travellers.

Earlybird tickets are available from $8 plus booking fees through iTicket, while door sales will be $13. Children aged 5 and under can attend free.
