A southbound lane on No. 3 Rd in Te Puke is blocked following a single-vehicle crash this afternoon.
Police were called to the crash at about 1.30pm.
No injuries have been reported at this stage, a police spokesperson said.
The southbound lane remains blocked while emergency services respond, with traffic management in place.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand northern fire communications shift manager Colin Underdown said a truck had rolled over, but no one was trapped.
He said there was a leak, which a hazmat unit from Greerton Fire Brigade was attending to ascertain the material.
Te Puke and Mount Maunganui fire brigades were also attending.
