A car has rolled multiple times before crashing into a power pole in Tauranga.

Police said emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on Ohauiti Rd in Hairini shortly before 2pm.

"Initial indications suggest there were no serious injuries."

An employee at Burger Mania said they saw the vehicle flip three times on Ohauiti Rd before coming to a stop after hitting a power pole.

The crash involved two vehicles, with one car left badly damaged.

A reporter at the scene said the other vehicle also has some damage.

Hato Hone St John said they were notified of the crash at 1.50pm, responding with one ambulance and one rapid response vehicle.

“Two patients were assessed and treated at the scene and were not taken to hospital.”
