Road closure

Posted on 14-01-2026 02:25 | By Ian R

The Police leave a lot to be desired, this morning at 12:20 am there was no mention of an accident on the roading website , we turned left and went around the lake to the Tauranga direct road only to be told the road was closed, no mention at the main rd turnoff, along with other cars we did a multi U-turn and drove all the way back to the main road. Why was there any signage to advise of the closure?p
