A crash is blocking traffic on State Highway 29, in the Lower Kaimai area.

Police told SunLive there had been reports of a crash in the area and the road was blocked.

According to Google Map’s Live Traffic reporting, traffic is backed up on SH29, between Poripori Rd and Gargan Rd.

Police said: “This appears to be a single vehicle crash on SH29 near Belk Road.

“There are no reported injuries at this stage.”

Police said contractors had been contacted.
