State Highway 25 in the Hauraki District is open this morning following a serious crash.
"Fortunately there are only minor injuries and occupants are out of the cars," says a police spokesperson.
Power line were strewn acros the road and police exepcted the road to be closed for several hours while the lines and vehicles were cleared.
Power was out in the area overnight, but Powerco says the supply has now been restored.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
