Thoughts on the General Election

The General Election – or the biggest game of charades – took place in New Zealand on October 14.

The charade actors all have magic spells that are bound to work.

They all have magical facial expressions that assure us.

The pots of gold to carry out these new plans are usually out of sight and shrouded in mists, like competing street corner vendors.

They assure us their wares are the best.

But trying out their goods at home, will usually prove the test.
