The campaigning continues, with just nine days left to secure Kiwis' votes.

The latest poll has once again suggested National leader Christopher Luxon is not going to get his preferred two-party coalition with ACT - they will need the backing of NZ First's Winston Peters to form a new government.

But while the right's grip on voters might have slipped in the poll, it has not gone to the left - with neither the Greens, Te Pāti Māori nor Labour picking up any support.

Labour leader Chris Hipkins is in his fifth day of isolation after contracting Covid-19, and has missed out on some of his campaign events.
