Labour leader Chris Hipkins is speaking to media after he spent the morning on a visit to Gisborne.
Earlier, Christopher Luxon said he had not looked at ACT's tax policy in detail, and while he theoretically would not be open to it, is refusing to negotiate that prior to the election.
The National Party leader made the comments as he spoke to media after a visit to Oete Goat Farm in Auckland.
He says getting an understanding of how to manage 3200 goats was "quite an experience".
Luxon and Hipkins are back on the campaign trail today after going head-to-head in the first debate of the 2023 campaign.
The wide-ranging 1News debate covered health, housing, crime and gangs, climate change and the economy.
