There is currently an emergency water shutdown affecting Collingwood Street, Robins Road, Miden Court, Glambourne Way and Redmond Street in Judea.

"The shutdown is due to a water mains break," says Tauranga City Council in a Facebook post.

"We anticipate the water will be back on by 7pm.

"We apologise for the inconvenience.

"Our contractor, Downers, is onsite currently and they have bottled water available for anyone who needs it. Please phone Patrick from Downers on 021 763 109 to get bottled water."
