Emergency services are responding to the scene of a car and truck crash on State Highway 29, in the Kaimai Range.

"We were advised that a car and truck have collided near the intersection of SH 29 and Old Kaimai Road at 12.20pm," says a police spokesperson.

At this stage it is unknown if there are any injuries.
