8.35am update: Police advise the the road is now clear following a three-vehicle crash on the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road by the Paengaroa roundabout.

The road initially had one lane blocked following the crash.

Earlier, 8.10am: Emergency services are at the scene of a vehicle crash on State Highway 2 at the Paengaroa roundabout at the end of Tauranga Eastern Link.

Due to a crash on SH2 at the roundabout with SH33 - Paengaroa roundabout - one lane is blocked.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and pass the scene with care.
