I am elderly and I see elderly people on electric bikes and it makes my shudder. Falling over is bad but coming off a bike much worse. I find I don't bounce like I used to . So encouraging people onto bikes probably we will unfortunately see more of any age in accidents. Obviously a lot less protection but with older people the injuries would be worse. The photo looks like Pyes Pa road and Manor Park intersection ?
And More To Come

There will be a LOT more of these accidents obviously, with the government trying to get us to ditch our cars and jump on a bike. Imagine being hit by a truck whilst on a bike versus being in a car. Scary times on their way. I hope the health system shortage gets sorted soon as more will be in hospital. Watch this space..........

Unfortunately it's a file photo not an actual photo of the scene. Quite agree with your comment though. I remember helping tend to a 'young man' who'd come off an electric bike in another city. He'd hit his head on the angle of the kerb without wearing his helmet and unfortunately was brain damaged for life. Etched in my memory. It was not a pretty sight at all.
