Reports are coming in that a boat has potentially fallen off a trailer in the Karangahake Gorge.

A SunLive reader has email in to says a boat has come off its trailer in the gorge.

"Injuries have been reported."

Other people have taken to the Bay of Plenty & Waikato Accidents and Traffic Information Facebook page to report the incident.

One person says a boat has come off its trailer, while another says it's clearly a broken axle and the boat's still on the trailer.
