Road users are being told to expect delays on SH25, Kopu to Whitianga heading northbound.

"Due to holiday congestion, road users should expect traffic delays through this area," says a Waka Kotahi spokesperson.

"Allow extra time for your journey or consider travelling at a later time.

"Please drive to the conditions."

According to Google Maps, traffic is currently building up along SH25 between Pauanui to Tairua.
