Emergency services are responding to a vehicle collision on State Highway 29, in the Lower Kaimai Range.
Police received a report of a motorcycle and car crash on the intersection of State Highway 29 and Omanawa Road around 12.20pm.
"It appears one person has minor to moderate injuries, and the road was not blocked," says a police spokesperson.
SunLive readers are reporting that traffic is building up.

I drove the kaimais mid December. The variable limit was set at 60kph, but , I was the only vehicle obeying the limit. Cars were doing their best to drive 100kph, so I was constantly being passed by speeding motorists. There should be speed cameras and/or patrol cars enforcing the speed limit on this very dangerous road. Driver just don’t care.
