Condolences to this person's family. In the absence of facts, it beggers belief how such a serious accident can occur here. It is a perfectly straight road and the speed limit has been reduced. So, a good example of why the NZTA's assisting the Government with the Road2Zero is a complete waste of tax payers money and only adds to frustration as to why jorneys now take considerably longer. Leave the limits alone and accept that unfortunately, accidents will always happen.
