Emergency services are responding to a vehicle crash on State Highway 30.

Police say that emergency services received reports of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of SH30 and Kawerau Road around 11am.

"One person appears to be seriously injured," says a Police spokesperson.

At this stage the road is not closed, but motorists are asked to drive carefully at this intersection.
