Contractors have worked to clear the SH29 Kaimai Range slip overnight.

"All lanes reopened around midnight last night," says the spokesperson.

"The contractors worked to clear the slip yesterday afternoon and evening."

Readers contacted SunLive yesterday saying the slip had occurred, and uphill traffic "had stopped" while downhill traffic was able to carefully go around it.
