A submerged vehicle that went off Chapel Street into nearby water early on Sunday is due to be pulled out, probably at low tide.
Police received a report about 1.35am that a vehicle had gone off the road and into the estuary.
"I can confirm the occupants of the vehicle are safe and were not injured during the incident," says a police spokesperson.
"The vehicle will be recovered."
Low tide is around 10.30am and high tide about 4.50pm today.
