Emergency services are on their way to the scene of a vehicle crash on Te Puke Highway near the Pah Road intersection.

Police were advised at 10.55am that a trailer had come off a car and struck another vehicle, at or near the intersection of Te Puke Highway and Pah Road,' says a police spokesperson.

"One person is reported to have minor injuries.

"The road is closed due to the crash but should be reopened shortly."

SunLive readers are reporting seeing ambulance and police heading to the scene.

Motorists are advised to take care and to expect delays. Southbound traffic is being detoured down Pah Road.
