A person has received serious injuries following a vehicle crash near Katikati on Friday night.

Police report that a vehicle rolled at the intersection of McMillan Road and State Highway 2.

"[It was] called in just before 9.30pm," says a police spokesperson.

"One person had serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

"A tow was called for the vehicle."
