Te Puna Station Road is now open following a slip earlier this week, with a 30km speed limit now around the slip area.

The slip on was situated about "half a kilometre back" from the intersection of Te Puna Station Road and State Highway 2, according to a police spokesperson.

The latest slip had closed the road since Wednesday October 5, which followed slips the weekend prior on Sunday, October 2.
