Emergency services are at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash in Ohope.

"Police are attending a multiple-vehicle collision on Ohope Rd in Ohope which has occurred at 5.15pm today," says a police spokesperson.

"One person has serious injuries."

Police say that vehicles involved in the collision are blocking the road.

"Emergency services are at the scene now, which is unfolding,' says a police spokesperson.
