Police can confirm one person has died following a crash on SH26/Pearoa Kopu Road on Saturday afternoon.

The crash involving a motorcycle and a car was reported around 2:30pm.

The road was closed between Wharepoa Rd and Townsend Rd for some time while an investigation took place.
