Motorists are being warned of a crash on State Highway 29.

A Tauranga City Council spokesperson says there has been a crash in the northbound land of SH29, between Omanawa and Belk roads.

The northbound lane is reported to be blocked.

"Ambulance and Fire in route.

"Expect delays."
